Comic Construction Programs for Libraries and Organizations

The Comic Construction program for libraries and organizations is generally a single hour to two hour long visit which consists of a demonstration of the steps used in creating comics and graphic novels, followed by live character creation exercise, and concluded with a short writing and drawing workshop where participants create their own comic pages/strips.

The program has been conducted with great success at libraries throughout Connecticut include Bristol Public Library, Glastonbury Public Library, and Granby Public Library. In addition to libraries, the program is ideal for scouting groups, day camps, and museums.

We are always willing to customize the program to your institution's needs or to fit in with programming themes. Cartooning and Comics as a medium lends itself well to any number of themes, including science, history, nature, etc...

If you are looking for programming that is unique and different, please let us cater our Comic Construction program to your needs.
