Steve has been writing comics for over six years. He is the co-creator of such titles as Pork n' Beans, Beyond the Kuiper Belt, Only in Whispers, and digital comic Chip n' Fish. He is also a comedian and the gag writer for the comic strip Junk Food with his artist partner Matt Ryan.
In addition to his writing he has been teaching and lecturing on the process of creating comics and graphic novels for six years. He also does lectures for local libraries on a variety of topics including Jack London and the Carmel Art Colony and his most recent multi-media presentation on Superman: 75 Years of the World's Greatest Superhero.
He obtained his degree in History from Boston College, and also did Graduate work at Central Connecticut State University.

Matt Ryan New Englandareas
Matt has been drawing for comics, books, games and business marketing since 1994.
He was a member of the Farmington Valley Arts Center faculty for seven years and was named Master Teaching Artist by the Greater Hartford Arts Council. In April 2008 at the New York ComicCon, he received the first-ever CAG award for production excellence. At the 2009 New York Comic Con CAG Awards, Matt received the Best Cartoonist and Best Workshop awards. Also, he was juried into the Granby Artists Association, a network of fine artists that partake in galleries, fundraisers, and mentoring activities. In 2011, he received the honor of President of the Granby Artists Association and the Head of the Connecticut Chapter of the Comic Book Artists Guild.
2014 began with Matt joining the Creative Encompassing Solutions family as a house artist for their design and fabrication production studio.
